Dear Websurfer,

We welcome you to the Lifeway Christian Fellowship website. We are so glad you chose to view this preview of our church ministry. When you visit our church, you will probably have several of our people come to talk to you and make you feel like "part of the family of faith."

There can be several reasons why someone visits a church:

Perhaps you are new to the community and are a Christian family looking for a church home, a place for you and your children to learn and grow in your faith. LCF is the perfect place for that. We are a fairly small assembly of believers and that allows for a "personal touch" and a real opportunity to make good Christian friends. You won't get lost in the crowd at LCF.
Perhaps you are looking for answers to your spiritual questions. LCF is a Bible- believing church where you are going to get God's perspective on the issues that face us in life. God has answers for you. God offers solutions. God cared enough about you that he put LCF here to help you get the answers to your deepest concerns. If you have anything you want to talk about please feel free to talk to any of us; and as pastor, I offer to meet with you and help you discover God's word and will for you.
Maybe you are a seeker. By that I mean, you are someone who is wondering about God, about faith, about Jesus, and about all the things you are not yet sure of. LCF is a safe place to discover faith. Yes, we believe the Bible, Yes, we preach the "Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ." We teach about the purpose and plan God has for each of us and has revealed to us in His Word. We are a place of acceptance, a place of caring, a place where you will be welcome just as you are as you discover what you need from God. After all, someone accepted me, someone told me about faith, and someone helped me discover the "Peace that passes understanding" in Jesus Christ. We offer the same acceptance and caring to those seeking faith.

Whatever the reasons are why you visited with us, we want you to know you are welcome here and we offer our friendship, our faith, and our heart in hopes you will become part of our family fellowship.

Lifeway - We are called LIFEWAY because we want to be a life-giving church. Jesus said, "I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly!" The Christian faith is real LIFE! No funeral-like services here. Music is celebrative and praiseworthy and alive. The messages are straightforward and honest and centered on what the Bible says.

Christian - We are solidly Christian in our beliefs and practices.

Fellowship - We believe that church isn't just a place to attend a program, but a fellowship, a place where connections of faith and family are made, and where people rely on each other, and help each other.

It may appear that because we are a smaller church, we may not offer much for you. But I would say the opposite is true. Because we are small, we can offer you what other churches may neglect- a true life-giving Christian fellowship where you can grow, discover your spiritual gifts, uncover your unique calling from God, and develop your ministries to the Lord and to others. Because we are small you are needed, wanted, and welcome.

Now that you visited, come again, stay for a while, discover the will of God for you, and let us love you.
